Surprised you, eh? The month of October was rather slow for me, as we started off with my website host having some sort of issue that knocked my site offline for almost two weeks, and then I just didn't have much energy for anything once it was back up and running. Perhaps it's the season change, perhaps it's the whole host of annoying and unexplained aches and pains I'm trying to get my doctor to sort out (I've got a shiny new referral to a rheumatologist, so that's something. Maybe I'll find a new niche in writing about chronic pain and sex.)

One thing I am excited about accomplishing this month is that I've joined/helped form the board for a new Pride committee in the town I'll be moving to in the coming years! We're in the thick of things organizing this town's first official Pride event for 2024 after several years of the Town blocking the attempts the head of our board had made, so getting the go-ahead this year was groundbreaking. I'm very excited to see what we can accomplish. I grew up in a small rural town that didn't have any support for queer residents (and frankly still doesn't, really) so this means a lot to me.
